When I think of living in Annapolis I think of more than the historic downtown area. To me, living in Annapolis encompasses a wide area of which the Cheasapeake Bay is the heart of. Yes the zip codes may change but the feeling of living around Annapolis does not.
Whether you are a first time home buyer or are already enjoying our rich and diverse area and want to make a move, choosing the right area for your new home is important. My goal is to provide you with the knowledge and expertise to do so.
Born in Annapolis and raised in a small waterfront community just outside Annapolis called Riva my childhood summers were spent swimming, boating and crabbing on the South River. My winters were spent in downtown Annapolis where my grandparents and parents were Main St business owners for many years.
Like my parents the office supply industry became my calling. From cleaning shelves as a youngin to working my way up to Vice President of a large office supply company in Northern Virginia I worked within the office supply industry for many years. Then the time came for a change. A time to come back to my roots of Annapolis and my passion for the area. So in 1992 I began my real estate career.
Having lived in many areas in and around Annapolis I found my perfect home in Davidsonville. A small farmette on 5 acres where my husband Jim and I grow blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. Our children and grandchildren have chosen the Annapolis area as their hometown as well and all live within an hours drive. Besides family and gardening I love to relax with a good book, walk the countryside around me and blog about this wonderful area I call home.

Being an active dedicated Annapolis Area Realtor® requires constant learning and growth. It also requires involvement in national and local associations whose purpose is not only the growth of me as a Realtor® but who also work hard to protect you, the consumer. Member National Association of Realtors- Being a member of this organization means I follow a strict Code of Ethics. This Code of Ethics is the catalyst for integrity, honesty and service within the industry which I am very proud to be a part of.
Member Maryland Association of Realtors- This organization has it own rules and regulations for being a Realtor® within Maryland. It is also the place where a high level of learning is offered, where the contracts and forms we use in a real estate transaction are born and where Realtors® all across the state come together for the betterment of Maryland real estate.
Certified Residential Specialist (CRS)- Only 4% of Realtors® across the United States hold this designation and I am proud to be one of the few. It has given me incredible opportunities to serve my clients at a higher level of professionalism and expertise.
Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI)- Being a graduate of this intense learning designation continually offers me ongoing insight into the nitty gritty of being an informed Realtor® as well as the opportunity to become a Broker if and when I choose to do so.
Distinguished Sales Achievement Club (DSAC)- As a lifetime member and current member of the Board of Directors DSAC brings local high achieving agents together for education, networking and sharing.
Chairman's Club- This club is unigue to Long & Foster. As a lifetime member I have shown Long & Foster and the industry my dedicated performance as a Top Producer within the Long & Foster organization as a whole by helping buyers and sellers buy and sell between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 worth of real estate each and every year.
At Home With Diversity- This hard earned designation offers me the insight and ability to help those of all nationalities and to better understand and respect their customs which reflect on their homebuying/selling decisions.
Short Sale Foreclosure Specialist (SFR)- Unfortunately todays market has many Sellers needing to sell under stressfull circumstances such as when more is owed on their mortgage than they can actually sell for in today's market. Having the education to help those in such a situation was important to me so that I could service them correctly and in their best interest.
Yes being an Annapolis area Realtor® is an honor and a delight for me.
